Thank for joining us for our first morning race of 2026 and our April playday!! It was a fun successful day with beautiful weather. This helps the girls start off their 2026 year and they are so appreciative.
We want to give a HUGE shout out to the Jefferson County Event Center for all their support. It was fun having 2 events going on for the Easter weekend and seeing new faces.
A few reminders.. NO parking to the west side of the arena. We all need to park in the parking lot out front. PLEASE remember to clean ALL hay and poop up around your trailer before you leave. Also, parents please keep track of your kiddos and make sure they clean up messes. The stands are being left with garbage and the bathrooms were a disaster and that is NOT fair to have 1 person clean up after your kids at the end of the day.
We want to give a special thank you to Preston Conroy for being a reliable and excellent raker!!
Our next event will be May 3rd. The morning race will start at 9am. Watch Saddlebook, entries will open 1 week prior. The playday will start at 11am. We plan to be OUTSIDE in May and we are SO excited to be out in the sunshine again.
EXCITING NEWS!!! We will be holding our Arena Improvement Fundraiser Race May 31st. Watch for details!! We are so excited for this race. This race will help us raise funds to have the one and only Al Rock Dawg LLC to come in and work his magic on the ground in the outdoor arena as well as purchasing the rest of the panels for the arena. We were able to get just over half the arena done last year. We need 25 more panels to complete this project. We cant wait for this project to be completed for safety reasons and give the arena a whole makeover. Our goal is number 1 safety for our contestants and hopes to see more equestrian events come to Jefferson County Event Complex.
We will have average BUCKLES and AWARDS for this race!!
Huge shout out to Ruth Broadhurst and Barrel Horse Alliance for all your help and support and helping in the office, We cant thank her enough for all she does to support MSGC.
We also want to thank all the people who have donated towards the new panels from Preifert. We appreciate everyone from our community for stepping up and helping us and the fairgrounds make this happen. We are sill in need of 25 more panels to be able to complete this project. If you are interested in sponsoring a panel you will get a metal sign with your name on your panel and our tax ID number to write it off. We appreciate everyone who has helped us make this project a reality.
We want to thank Preston Conroy for all his hard work raking for us. We also want to thank Dwayne for running the tractor and making the ground good and safe to start our day. Thank you Jefferson Co. Fairgrounds for allowing us to use your facility and all your help making sure we are all set and ready to go for our event.
Please email your entries to madrassaddleclub@gmail.com or Facebook message us. We well be asking for a little more information at pre entry time to follow the states requirements. Please follow our Facebook page for updates.

Please respect the fairgrounds property and rules as the let us rent their facility to put these events on for you. NO PARKING ANYWHERE other then the front parking lot or back by the outdoor arena!! The Fairground do NOT want trailers parking by the arena please. There were ALOT of trailers parked in front of the arena and this can NOT happen!!
REMINDERS: When we are indoors, if your horse poops in front of the arena or anywhere on the grounds you MUST clean it up!!
*NO RIDING ON CEMENT or THROUGH THE FAIRGROUNDS!! This includes grass areas! You may warm up in the outdoor arena but PLEASE use the road to the west of the indoor arena DO NOT ride through the grounds!!
*THE GATE IS NEVER EVER TO BE OPEN UNLESS IT IS DURING A RAKE!! This is VERY important for safety reasons as well as it slows everything down!!
ENTRIES:
Pre Entries will be REQUIRED! Please Facebook Message us or Email: madrassaddleclub@gmail.com your entries.
We encourage playday participants to get their barrel time onlies done before playday starts. This helps our day move more efficiently.

You must have a minimum of 4 volunteer tasks completed by the end of the year to qualify for year-end awards. All peewees may have a parent/adult help them with their volunteer tasks as they are so little and can't lift a barrel or run the heavy gates ect.. All juniors and older MUST complete their volunteer task! Parents or friends may not do this task for you! If you cannot do your task, it is YOUR responsibility to trade with someone! IF you do not show up for your task you were signed up for you will NOT receive credit!! Last year was a learning year as we navigated through what works and what doesn't, this year we will be more strict with our volunteer rules!
