Thank for joining us for our first morning race and play day OUTSIDE!! It was a fun day being out in the sunshine the weather was beautiful.
We want to give Al Campbell a HUGE shout out for coming in last week before our event and remove the rocks and get the ground ready for us this year.
We want to give a shout out to the Jefferson County Event Center for all their support.

A few reminders.. WE need to be better about our parking situations!! Please SLOW down!! We have lots of horses and kids around. Please dont drive or park to close to another trailer and be respectful!! There was a incendent this past weekend with someone driving in to fast, nearly hitting another trailer with a horse tied to it. The horse spooked while the young gal was putting his bell boots on. This person never stopped to see if everyone was ok they just drove off. THIS IS ABSOLUTLY UNACCEPTABLE!! Saftey is our priority and if you can not be respectful, you will be asked not to return. We are so very sorry this happened to one of our contestants. We are incredible grateful the girl and horse were not hurt, just sore and scared.
PLEASE remember to clean ALL hay and poop up around your trailer before you leave. Lets leave the facility clean when we leave please. Also, parents please keep track of your kiddos and make sure they clean up messes. There is garbage being left and the bathrooms were a mess, that is NOT fair to have 1 person clean up after your kids at the end of the day.

We want to give a special thank you to Preston Conroy for being a reliable and excellent raker!!

Our next event is May 31st!! The Jefferson County Arena Improvements Race. Mark your calenders this is going to be a fun race!! Time onlies will be from 8:30-9:45 and the race starts at 10am. It will be a double header. You must run TWICE for average buckle and awards. This event will be held to raise funds to pay for Al Rock Dawg rock removal services as well as going towards panels to finish the south end of the arena. We are working hard to provide you all with a fun and safe place to run outdoors during the summer months.

Our next playday will be June 7th. The morning race will start at 9am. Watch Saddlebook, entries will open 1 week prior. The playday will start at 11am.

EXCITING NEWS!!! We will be holding our Arena Improvement Fundraiser Race May 31st.  We are so excited for this race. This race will help us raise funds to have the one and only Al Rock Dawg LLC to come in and work his magic on the ground in the outdoor arena as well as purchasing the rest of the panels for the arena. We were able to get just over half the arena done last year. We need 25 more panels to complete this project. We cant wait for this project to be completed for safety reasons and give the arena a whole makeover. Our goal is number 1 safety for our contestants and hopes to see more equestrian events come to Jefferson County Event Complex.
We will have average BUCKLES and AWARDS for this race!!

We also want to thank all the people who have donated towards the new panels from Preifert. We appreciate everyone from our community for stepping up and helping us and the fairgrounds make this happen.  We are sill in need of 25 more panels to be able to complete this project. If you are interested in sponsoring a panel you will get a metal sign with your name on your panel and our tax ID number to write it off. We appreciate everyone who has helped us make this project a reality.

We want to thank Preston Conroy for all his hard work raking for us. We also want to thank Dwayne for running the tractor and making the ground good and safe to start our day.  Thank you Jefferson Co. Fairgrounds for allowing us to use your facility and all your help making sure we are all set and ready to go for our event.

The Fairground do NOT want trailers parking by the arena please. There were ALOT of trailers parked in front of the arena and this can NOT happen!!

REMINDERS: When we are indoors, if your horse poops in front of the arena or anywhere on the grounds you MUST clean it up!!

*NO RIDING ON CEMENT or THROUGH THE FAIRGROUNDS!! This includes grass areas! You may warm up in the outdoor arena but PLEASE use the road to the west of the indoor arena DO NOT ride through the grounds!!

*THE GATE IS NEVER EVER TO BE OPEN UNLESS IT IS DURING A RAKE!! This is VERY important for safety reasons as well as it slows everything down!!
